TEHRAN – Presidential candidate Mostafa Hashemi Taba on Monday issued an announcement in which he expounded the policies of principlists, the Rouhani administration, and his own.

The principlists, he wrote, try to lay waste the services of the sitting administration by showing a “dark image consisting of poverty and destitution”.

The second side played into the hands of the first by trying hard to defend themselves against the accusations, he said.

He added that his own major policy, however, is to defend the “land of Iran” as the habitat of the nation against “environmental threats”.
